Dumpster Price Map MCP server for ChatGPT, Claude, Grok and Cursor

Look up published roll-off dumpster prices, local providers and permit rules for 15 cities and counties in North Carolina and Virginia, and get a size suggestion for a project. Free, read-only and no sign-in: add one URL to your AI assistant and it can look up our data and cite the page it came from.

Model Context Protocol over Streamable HTTP, stateless, read-only, no sign-in. Every answer includes links to our source pages and the date the data was last checked.

How to add it

Claude (claude.ai and desktop)

Open Settings → Connectors (or Customize → Connectors).
Choose Add custom connector, name it Dumpster Price Map and paste https://dumpsterpricemap.com/mcp.
Leave authentication empty and click Add. Then enable it in a chat from the tools menu.

ChatGPT

Turn on Developer mode under Settings → Apps → Advanced settings (available on plans and workspaces that allow custom MCP apps).
Choose Create app, paste https://dumpsterpricemap.com/mcp as the MCP server URL and pick No authentication.
Select the app in a chat. The server also offers search and fetch tools for deep research.

Grok (xAI API)

Add it as a remote MCP tool in the Responses API:

Read-only. The server can't change anything, has no accounts and stores nothing you send.
It answers only from the data published on this site, the same data the pages show, rebuilt every time the site is updated. It never estimates numbers it doesn't have.
